Your privacy matters. DebtSnowball.co.uk is designed so that the figures you enter into any calculator stay in your browser — they are not sent to us or stored on our servers.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how many people use each calculator and how the site performs. This collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and general location. It does not identify you personally and does not capture the financial figures you type into the tools. Where applicable US privacy law requires it, analytics storage stays switched off until you agree — see Consent and your choices below.

Cookies and local storage

We keep the number of cookies to a minimum. Some preferences are saved in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, which means they stay on your device and are never sent to us. The table below lists what we and our partners set.

Consent and your choices

We manage your privacy choices through Google's Privacy & messaging, a Google-certified consent platform delivered by the Google AdSense tag on this site. Because Google uses Consent Mode v2, advertising and analytics storage start in a denied state until a choice is applied.

For visitors in US states with applicable privacy laws (such as California's CCPA/CPRA), we show a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” message so you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for personalised advertising. Choosing to opt out signals your preference to Google and its advertising partners.
