Your privacy matters. DebtSnowball.co.uk is designed so that the figures you enter into any calculator stay in your browser — they are not sent to us or stored on our servers.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how many people use each calculator and how the site performs. This collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and general location. It does not identify you personally and does not capture the financial figures you type into the tools. Where consent requires it, analytics storage stays switched off until you agree — see Consent and your choices below.

Cookies and local storage

We keep the number of cookies to a minimum. Some preferences are saved in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, which means they stay on your device and are never sent to us. The table below lists what we and our partners set.

Consent and your choices

For visitors in the UK and EEA, we ask for your consent before any personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. This is handled through Google's Privacy & messaging, a Google-certified consent platform (CMP) delivered by the Google AdSense tag on this site.

Because Google uses Consent Mode v2, advertising and analytics storage begin in a denied state on every visit and are only switched on for the categories you agree to. If you decline, non-essential and advertising cookies are not set, and only non-personalised, essential functionality continues.
